Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Days Without ("we", "us", or "our") handles your information when you use the Days Without mobile application ("Service"). The short version: your habit data never leaves your device, and we couldn't read it even if we wanted to.

1. Information You Provide

When using the Service, you may enter information such as:

All of this is stored locally on your device only. There is no account, no registration, and no server sync. We have no access to your entries, and we cannot see what habits you track.

2. Backups

You can export your habits, history and achievements to a backup file. That file is created by you, saved where you choose, and stays under your control. We never receive a copy. If you store it in a cloud service (such as Google Drive), that provider's privacy policy applies to the file.

3. Advertising (Free Version)

The free version of the app shows ads served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect data such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, and general device information. Where required (for example in the EEA and UK), you will be asked for consent before personalized ads are shown, and you can choose non-personalized ads instead.

Your habit data, check-ins, and notes are never shared with advertisers.

4. In-App Purchases

The premium upgrade is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Google Play Billing. We do not receive, store, or have access to your payment details.

5. Notifications

Daily check-in reminders and milestone alerts are scheduled locally on your device. No notification data is sent to us or any third party.

6. Data Storage & Deletion

Everything you enter lives in the app's local storage. Deleting a habit removes its data; uninstalling the app removes everything. There is no server-side copy to request or erase.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your Rights (GDPR & Other Regions)

Because your data is stored only on your device, you can access, correct, export (via backup), or delete it at any time, directly in the app. For data processed by Google for advertising, you can manage consent in the app and through your device settings, or contact Google via the link above.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are made, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated policy.
