Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Litru ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Litru mobile application and related services ("Service"). Litru shows live fuel prices at gas stations in Romania. You do not need an account to use it.

1. Information We Collect

a. Location

With your permission, Litru uses your device location to show the gas stations nearest to you and to plan routes. Your coordinates are sent to our servers only to return nearby stations and prices for that area. We do not associate your location with your identity, and we do not keep a history of where you have been. If you deny location access, the app falls back to a default area and remains usable.

b. Data Stored On Your Device

Some information stays only on your device and is never sent to us:

• Your favorite stations
• Calculator inputs (e.g. your car's fuel consumption, tank size)
• Filter and fuel-type preferences

This data is removed when you uninstall the app.

c. Advertising & Diagnostics

The free version of Litru shows ads. For this we use Google AdMob, which may access an advertising identifier and basic device information. On iOS you are asked (via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt) whether to allow tracking for personalized ads; if you decline, you still see ads, but non-personalized. We may also receive anonymous crash and performance diagnostics.

2. Third-Party Services

Litru relies on a few third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:

• Google AdMob — advertising (advertising identifier, device data).
• RevenueCat — processes the "Remove Ads" purchase and receives a pseudonymous app identifier plus purchase status.
• OpenFreeMap (built on OpenStreetMap data) — map tiles. When the map is shown, tile requests are sent to these providers. If OpenFreeMap is unavailable, the app may fall back to CartoCDN for tiles.
• Routing & address search — when you plan a route, the start, destination and waypoints you choose (addresses or places) are sent to mapping services to look up coordinates and compute the road route.
• Apple — in-app purchases (iOS) and, if enabled, anonymous diagnostics.
• Google Play — in-app purchases (Android).

We never sell, rent, or trade your data.

3. Fuel Price Data

Station and price information is aggregated from publicly available data published by the Romanian Competition Council (Consiliul Concurenței). It is provided for your convenience and may be delayed or inaccurate — always confirm the price at the pump.

4. In-App Purchases

Litru offers a single one-time purchase ("Remove Ads"). Payment is handled securely by the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). We do not store or have access to your payment information.

5. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Your Rights (GDPR & Other Regions)

You may have the right to:

• Access information related to you
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent for personalized ads / tracking at any time
• Stop using the app at any time

Because favorites and preferences are stored on your device, you can delete them instantly by uninstalling the app.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are made, the "Last updated" date above will change. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated policy.
